Mickey Thompson and Oliver Chapman aim to provide companies with everything they need when visiting Yorkshire.
They want to build a database of Keighley-based actors and technicians, equipment suppliers, and potential locations. The pair also plan to make their own films under the banner of Worth Valley Talent Productions.
Former music promoter Mickey, who grew up in Braithwaite, has been a TV film extra for several years, with roles in Casualty, Emmerdale, EastEnders and the Harry Potter films. He progressed to small speaking roles, including as a taxi driver on Coronation Street, but in recent months has been running the Great Northern pub in Ingrow.
Mickey urged people to contact him if they had skills, knowledge or talent that could be useful to the film industry.
He said: “When production teams come here, we can tell them who is available. People with local knowledge can help companies better than someone from London.
“We need about 100 people. Companies won’t take you seriously unless you’ve got at least that many.”
Mickey can be contacted on 07933 699234.
