Mums visit Bradford to raise awareness of Tourette Syndrome
9:00am Thursday 10th October 2013 in News
Mothers of children with Tourette Syndrome visited Bradford as part of a whistle-stop tour of England.
The mothers aim to raise awareness of the brain disorder, which is characterised by physical and vocal tics, and challenge commonly-held preconceptions on behalf of the charity Tourettes Action.
One of the mums, Jacqueline Campbell, said: “We’re really pleased to be in Bradford today and delighted that Lord Mayor has accepted our information pack about Tourette Syndrome on behalf of the city.”
