Charity night in memory of Danielle
A charity night is being held to raise money in memory of a young woman killed in a head-on car crash.
Now her family and friends intend to honour her memory with a night of entertainment in Cross Roads. Proceeds from the event will go to a charity called SCARD – Support and Care After Road Death and Injury.
The evening is being organised by Danielle’s sister Charlotte, of Spring Bank, who was 19 at the time of the tragedy, and her friend Holly Milner, who lives in Riddlesden.
Charlotte said: “It’s not easy for smaller charities like this, they really need our help. This group helps people in the aftermath of road accidents by offering counselling and other support. When Danielle died, I had no one to talk to, so it’s a cause which is very close to my heart.”
The charity night will take place at The Cross Roads Inn on December 14.
Charlotte and Holly would welcome donated prizes for the raffle. People can support them by calling 07455 931981 or e-mailing email@example.com.
