Charity seeks to recruit members
7:00am Tuesday 17th September 2013 in News
Down Syndrome Training & Support Service Ltd is looking for new recruits to become a director for the charitable company.
The annual meeting is on Friday, October 25, and more members are needed to join.
A spokesman said: “Although we have 290 families and 190 organisations on our mailing list who are classed as beneficiaries of our charity, only 28 of these are members of our company. Membership means that you are invited to attend our annual general meeting and receive a copy of our annual progress report and accounts.
“It would be lovely if we could have some new faces representing a range of families. It also means that you are eligible to stand as a director should you so wish.”
