A Bradford man who damaged the door of his former partner’s home when he tried to force his way in has been ordered to pay £250 compensation.
The court heard he had tried to get back into the flat after being locked out by his partner, with whom he had a child.
Tavernier, of Hollybank Gardens, Great Horton, who admitted criminal damage but questioned some of the evidence, was hopeful of a reconciliation with his partner, the court heard.
He was fined £70 and ordered to pay costs of £85, a victims surcharge of £20 and compensation to the landlord.
