A 61-year-old man appeared in court yesterday, charged with two offences of sexual assault and two of breaching a Sexual Offences Protection Order.
Nigel Delaney, of Emsley Close, Bierley, appeared at Bradford Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing. But the hearing was adjourned for two weeks after the court was told the defence wanted to apply to dismiss two of the charges.
Prosecutor Gerald Hendron asked for the adjournment so the Crown could consider its position and finalise the charges.
Judge David Hatton QC agreed to adjourn the case until September 25.
A trial date has been fixed for October 21.
