Hospital’s abseilers set to help baby unit in Bradford

Hospital staff who are part of the £2 million neo-natal unit expansion at the Bradford Royal Infirmary will be abseiling down the side of one of the city’s tallest buildings to help babies in their care.
Dr Sunita Seal, who is clincal lead for neo-natology and fellow consultant neo-natalogists Dr Chris Day and Dr Sam Wallis will join Susan Robins who is divisional general manager for the Women and Children's division and Sarah Szpara, clinical service manager for the charity, in abseiling off the Culture Fusion converted mill building on Thornton Road, Bradford, between 4pm and 7pm today.
The group will also be joined by contracters on the build which include Thomas Barnes, Ramboll and architects Bowman Riley. All money raised from the event will go towards buying additional home comforts and furnishings for the new neo-natal unit.
