Folk singer Bella Gaffney to play at Brighouse Arts Festival

Rising Bradford folk singer Bella Gaffney will be performing at Brighouse Arts Festival this weekend.
She will be supporting Brighouse Bard Roger Davies in concert at St Martin's Parish Church in the town, starting at 7.15pm.
The pair have already performed together at Nottingham Playhouse, where Bella is at university studying chemistry, and appeared together on stage in Centenary Square in June this year as part of the Routes to Peace event.
Bella who started her acoustic music career several years ago at the Topic Folk Club has regular bookings to play at a variety of clubs, festivals and private functions in Yorkshire and will be at Otley folk festival later this month - she has also been booked to 'warm up' for Mark Radcliffe & the Foes at Otley Courthouse in October.
Roger Davies, whose album The Busker won Leeds Music Promotions' Best Male Solo Album Award in 2009, has a big following.
his latest single 'Stephanie' was released earlier this year and was recorded with top West Yorkshire based Folk Rock band The Durbervilles.
Saturday's performance is on the first day of the week-long Brighouse Festival that include the visual arts, dance, drama, music of all kinds and a whole series of workshops encouraging people to get first hand experience of making their own art.
