Turn up at Centenary Square on your bike for free breakfast
10:00am Monday 9th September 2013 in News
Anyone who turns up in Centenary Square, Bradford, on a bike this Thursday between 7.30am and 10am will get a free breakfast.
The Bike Breakfast will coincide with National Cycle to Work Day and is being funded by go:cycling, the West Yorkshire adult cycle training programme.
There will be pastries and fruit to eat, and tea, coffee, water and juice to drink.
Tom Jones (pictured), assistant transport planner at Bradford Council, said: “After a fantastic summer of big sunshine and big announcements this will be a nice opportunity to meet and discuss how great it is to be cycling these days.”
Anyone planning to turn up is asked to e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org so organisers have an idea of numbers.
