Queensbury burglary figures revealed

One house was burgled and three commercial premises were broken into in the Queensbury area between August 16 and 30, police have revealed.
The domestic burglary happened in Greenland Avenue during the night when the offender forced the lock off and broke the handle of a patio door.
There were three other burglaries of commercial properties on the High Street.
The first was when the suspects tried to break into a commercial premises on High Street.
They made off when the alarm sounded. This happened during the evening, police said.
The second was when vandals gained entry to a commercial premises by smashing the front double window and stealing property.
The third was when the offenders broke the window of a shop on the High Street using a large slab of rock. This was just after 2am.
During the last fortnight there have also been four vehicles broken into.
