Crowds flock to Bradford Classic vintage car display
2:17pm Saturday 17th August 2013 in News
Crowds are gathering to see vintage cars dating as far back as 1910 at Bradford Classic in City Square.
Today and tomorrow more than 150 cars are expected to be on display for the annual show.
A large Continental and craft market and performances from the Keep Cultural Troupe are also keeping shoppers entertained, and children are playing on giant inflatable slides in the Bradford Urban Garden.
Vehicle highlights include Bradford-made Jowetts and Scott Motorcycles which were produced in the early 1900s.
Brian Standhaven was showing a yellow Austin 7.
He said: “Weve been the last three years and it’s a lot busier than it has been, with a lot more people around.”
