A PERSON who had been wanted for offences for the last two years has been arrested in a Bradford woodland.
West Yorkshire Police's Operation Steerside Team were searching some remote woodland for a stolen motorbike in the east of the city.
It was here they came across someone who had been wanted for offences since 2022.
A spokesperson for the force said the suspect had been "living off the grid".
The arrest was made and they were taken into custody.
A full statement from the Steerside Team said: "Whilst searching some remote woodland for a stolen motorbike in Bradford East, we came across someone living off grid.
"Turns out they had been wanted for offences since 2022.
"Arrested, hiked back to civilisation and on to custody."
