A FATHER and son who have supported Bradford City for more than 40 years enjoyed an access-all-areas trip to Valley Parade.

Roland and Michael Baxter managed to bag a goal at the packed stadium, train with the players, meet manager Graham Alexander, and even handle the iconic Buzz car on the pitch.

The pair won the visit after successfully answering a round of questions in bet365’s Never Ordinary Ticket Office.

Bad weather put paid to plans for the Notts County game so the experience took place at the Gillingham match.

It was certainly a special moment when Roland was able to watch his son score a goal in front of a busy Kop at the stadium where they’ve spent so many years together.

Speaking on their experience, Michael said: “Having a go on the pitch, having a go shooting at the keeper, a bit of training, seeing it from this perspective. It was very good indeed.”

Rolan added: “Yeah, I think we’ve had a great day. It’s a massive experience to be down here on the pitch, close to the players. And certainly, watching Michael shooting and getting a goal in the bottom corner, so fantastic for me.”
